Mission Statement:

To do what is required of us, to do justice, love, mercy, and walk humbly with God while striving to develop, implement, and maintain programs which provide for physical, spiritual, and other needs, allowing clients to become less aid dependent.

Agency’s Goals and Programs:

CUOC offers programs such as a food pantry, thrift shop, financial assistance, medical equipment, and second chance gowns for its clients.

Agency Impact on Community:

As of November 2008, CUOC has served 7,957 households through food distribution and has distributed 317,939 pounds of food (year-to-date). They have collected 15 tons of food over a 14-week period and initially distributed 10 tons of food.

Volunteer Duties:

• Food distributing and sorting
• Helping in the thrift shop
• Performing other duties as needed
• Acting as an operator
