Agency’s Mission Statement

Christian Community in Action’s mission is to help our neighbors who face immediate crises using proceeds from our thrift shop and donations from concerned individuals, our local churches and the community.

Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Clients/People Served

Crisis assistance (rent or utility money to those in need,) food pantry operation for the needy, support of a ministry to three local prisons, collection and distribution of medical appliances to those in need, recycling thrift shop donations to needy, opening other CCA programs where needed and providing senior citizens in area with private sales are all services offered by CCA.

Agency’s Impact on the Community

$630,598.91 was spent in 2008 to provide the above mentioned services.
