They achieve this through yearly leadership camps, which occur in every state and several countries. The three-day camp focuses on promoting leadership through hands-on activities and panel sessions with real world leaders. Agency’s goals and programs offered to clients/people served: The agency’s yearly camp is offered to over two-hundred of the state’s top leaders, one from each participating schools. As a part of the camp, ambassadors start their community service by volunteering with triangle-region organizations. Many alumni return to these organizations after the camps to volunteer. Inter-Faith Food Shuttle

Agency’s Goals and Programs: Inter-Faith Food Shuttle receives food from over 220 donors, ranging from grocery stores and restaurants to the NC State Farmer’s Market. The Food Shuttle provides food to over 200 agencies. Agency Impact on Community: Inter-Faith Food Shuttle provides low-nutrition soup kitchens with high-quality, ready-to-serve meals frequently. The Food Shuttle has provided families with healthy and balanced meals to eat regardless of poor circumstances since its beginning. Laasya School of Dance and Music

Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Clients/People Served This agency supports our state’s top industries – forest products, wood and paper products, and tourism. This agency also tests and analyzes our water supply for bacteria and other toxins. It helps provide solutions to make sure we have the natural resources we need in the future. Agency’s Impact on the Community The Center for Applied Aquatic Ecology has done research in cyanobacteria in water reservoirs in North Carolina, and has also done projects that help protect wildlife habitats such as estuaries and rivers. CNR has worked with NC State to install facilities that use less energy, and has also created  a golf course that does not destroy the trees and wildlife habitat.
