Agency Goals and Programs: Robeson aims to provide a temporary shelter for stray and unwanted animals and to educate the public about pet overpopulation. They have a program called Leash on Life that selects prison inmates to train dogs to obey various commands. Agency Impact: The humane society has spayed and neutered hundreds of pets, severely cutting pet overpopulation down to an almost reasonable level.
