Agency’s Mission Statement

To assist in encouraging and empowering participants and volunteers to accomplish their own individual objectives and goals. The form strives to give greater meaning and purposes to lives stressed with disabilities and hardships.

Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Clients/People Served

This agency provides  a safe, serene, and idyllic environment for individuals interested in promoting physical, cognitive, emotional, and psychological developments within themselves and others. It provides therapeutic horseback riding, recreational therapy, animal-assisted therapy, and horticulture therapy.

Agency’s Impact on the Community

This agency reaches hundreds of people in the community through Healing Paws, through which therapy pets are taken into nursing homes. Healing Hooves allows participants to learn about their own strengths and weaknesses through horses. Healing Growth allows people to learn patience, gentleness, and accomplishment through horticulture.

Volunteer Duties

• Assist in animal care (clean stalls, groom, feed)
• Assist with horses while participants are riding them
• Maintain equipment for activities
