Agency’s Mission Statement

To ensure consistent, compassionate support to those who are terminally ill. To pay special attention to the patient’s family’s mental and physical well-being and to provide meaningful, personal attention at all times and meet the needs of each unique patient and family.

Agency’s Goals and Programs Offered to Clients/People Served

Programs that are offered include medical direction for patient care, home visits by health care professionals, pain and symptom management, education and assistance for family members, chaplain services, bereavement counseling, medical supplies and equipment to aid in patient care, therapy (physical, speech, and occupational), dietary counseling, and support of trained volunteers to assist the patient and family members with day-to-day tasks.

Duties You Will Perform as a Volunteer

• Provide administrative support services as needed in the hospice office
• Determines schedule with volunteer coordinator and provides services assigned
• Attends continuing education in-service as required
• Complete all office tasks assigned by office coordinator
