Agency’s Mission Statement

Dream A Dream is a registered charitable trust which seeks to empower children from vulnerable backgrounds by developing life skills and at the same time sensitizing the community through active volunteering leading to a non-discriminatory society where unique differences are appreciated.

Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Clients/People Served

The agency provides non-traditional educational programs, like arts and sports, that teach children teamwork, negotiation, cognitive skills, creativity, confidence, self-awareness, and a passion for learning. There are also computer literacy programs, summer camps, and big sibling programs to promote education in vulnerable communities. The agency aims to give opportunities to students in slum areas.

Agency’s Impact on the Community

The agency has impacted the lives of children in the community; it has fostered the growth of strong personalities  and high morals in children with vulnerable urban backgrounds. The children have learned to use laptops, and have learned important skills like teamwork that will be beneficial to them later in life.  Also, the agency engages children in community service activities to teach them civic responsibility.
