Agency’s Goals and Programs: We provide three primary services to our guests: summer camp, retreat facilities and programs, and outdoor education. Specific programs offered by the CRCRC include community farm trail rides, horseback riding lessons, after-school program, and much more for the community. Agency Impact on Community: CRCRC has helped friends, families, and members of the community build and strengthen their relationships as they spent quality time together and engaged in meaningful fellowship. Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Clients/People Served Animal Services has animals available for adoption, and also partners with area rescues organizations to place as many animals as possible with loving homes. We provide animal control services to the unincorporated portion of Orange County and Hillsborough, and are responsible for enforcing state and county laws that apply to animals. We also manage licensing and offer low cost rabies clinics, spay/neuter programs, and other services. Through innovative educational experiences, Morehead engages the public and the University community in a forum for interpreting contemporary science. Agency Goals and Programs: The planetarium primarily offers shows about space, and sometimes other topics, in its planetarium dome. Non-credit classes for all ages and special courses for teachers are also offered. In the past, they have trained prospective NASA astronauts in celestial navigation so they could pilot their spacecraft if the navigation systems failed. Agency Impact: The planetarium has managed to inform the community about science and space for years.
