Agency Mission Statement:

To stimulate interest in and teach the cultural and natural history of Onslow County and its agriculture, marine, and industrial resources and development so that residents of and visitors to the county will be able to gain understanding of its past, present, and future.

Agency Goals and Programs:

The museum aims to educate residents of the county about the history and resources of Onslow County. Many programs are aimed at the county’s youth, such as Summer Art Week II.

Agency Impact:

The museum has educated the youth and adults of the county for years about the cultural and natural history of Onslow County. It is a vital part of the community and hosts many activities aimed at the county’s youth.

Volunteer Duties:

  • Acting as a counselor during Summer Art Week II
  • Acting as an administrative assistant during the program
