Agency’s Mission Statement:

The mission of Braswell Memorial Public Library is to nurture life-long reading and learning, provide access to information, and promote community enrichment and achievement.

Braswell Memorial Library offers many summer reading programs from the “Read-to-me” age group to the adult group. They also have many programs to help tutor school kids and help them with research. Braswell is also connected to the Tar River Connections Genealogical Society.

Impact Agency has made on Community:

This agency has provided the community with not only books, but programs to encourage reading, research, and learning at all ages. This empowers people to take the words that they read and to incorporate then into the actions of their lives.

The primary goal is a cured patient, but the hospital strives to give all patients the best treatment possible. It also tries to use the best technology and resources for the patients.

Agency’s Impact on the Community

Opened in 1971, Nash General Hospital has served many citizens. It has brought resources and technology that were previously unavailable to the county. It has been expanding over the years, bringing in a new heart catheter lab, a new emergency care center, and a women’s center. These are only a few of the opportunities that Nash General Hospital has brought to the community. Nash tries to identify problems that are occurring in the community and then provide a solution.
