Agency Goals and Programs: The goals of MCDSS include providing services with respect to the individual family, kin, friend, and community network, acknowledging families as experts in their own situations, promoting families generating their own solutions to problems, and participating in planning and decision making. Agency Impact: MCDSS took 39 children out of foster care in the 2009-2010 year by reuniting them with their families, working out adoptions, and emancipating them to adulthood if of age.
