Some include: heart disease, cancer, and diabetes support groups. Besides providing medical care, the hospital also has a program to ensure their patients are taking their medication correctly. The hospital also has a group that raises money to buy items that patients cannot afford, called auxillary. Agency’s Goals and Programs: CUOC offers programs such as a food pantry, thrift shop, financial assistance, medical equipment, and second chance gowns for its clients. Agency Impact on Community: As of November 2008, CUOC has served 7,957 households through food distribution and has distributed 317,939 pounds of food (year-to-date). They have collected 15 tons of food over a 14-week period and initially distributed 10 tons of food. Ephesus Baptist Church

Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Clients/People Served The goal of EBC is to share the gospel with the community through ministry and missions. We have a large Vacation Bible School Program, which is a week-long series of worship and Bible study sessions for children and adults. The youth program is a vital and important part of what EBC does; it is the center of many programs and activities. There are programs for seniors as well as adults and children. Agency’s Impact on the Community EBC is one of the most prominent churches in the area. It often coordinates with other churches for larger community events. The VBS ministry is especially impactful, with an attendance of around 200 children and adults from the area each year. Agency’s Goals and Programs Offered to Clients/People Served The theatre performs 6-8 major mainstage productions each season for a variety of audiences. Each year, the theatre offers three youth “conservatories” which are designed to educate and grow North Carolina youth. Also, over 20 special events such as benefits, balls, concerts, and fundraisers are held at the Temple Theatre each year. Impact the Agency Has Made on the Community The Temple Theatre’s shows, programs, and conservatories draw in nearly 30,000 people each season alone. Of this number, 6,000 are children in educational programs and shows. The Temple Theatre offers the only professional theatre programming in all of the county.
