Habitat also holds fundraisers that allow it to remain a non-profit organization. As well as working to better the lives of needy families, Habitat allows volunteers of all levels of experience to join in side-by-side with professionals to gain experience in each phase of construction. <p><strong>Agency&#8217;s Impact on the Community</strong></p>
<p>Since May of 1990, the Haywood County branch of Habitat for Humanity has seen to the construction of 38 brand new homes. This, coupled with the renovations of donated houses, has allowed Habitat for Humanity to touch the lives and hearts of forty-one families throughout Haywood County.</p>
