Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Clients/People Served Habitat for Humanity works with families in need to renovate and restore old homes or to construct and furnish new homes. The organization strives to create an efficient living environment for the people it serves with the result of low monthly house payments. Habitat also holds fundraisers that allow it to remain a non-profit organization. As well as working to better the lives of needy families, Habitat allows volunteers of all levels of experience to join in side-by-side with professionals to gain experience in each phase of construction. They offer an interdisciplinary care team for the patient as well as a spiritual counselor, grief counselor, and trained volunteers. Also offered are music therapy and bereavement services for the family.
