Agency’s Goals and Programs: The goal of the church is to spread God’s love and word to all people it touches. Oak Hill Friends Meeting offers a Wednesday night and a Sunday morning service, a coffeehouse with live Christian music every other Saturday night, a Christian movie night every other other Sunday, an on-site and satellite Vacation Bible School, and various other service opportunities to the community. Agency Impact on Community: The church has shown love to various people in the surrounding High Point community for over 100 years. Recently, the church has taken backpacks to the underprivileged youth around Christmas time and has begun a service project in collaboration with other churches in the surrounding area. Agency Impact on Community: Peacehaven Farm provides housing that is affordable for a vulnerable segment of our population. They provide a place in the community for those living there. Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Clients/People Served The Center of Hope provides men, women, and children with transitional and emergency housing. Emergency assistance is open to walk ins, and assists the less fortunate. The Boys and Girls Club’s mission is to inspire and enable all young people who need them most. The Night Watch allows volunteers to go around at night with blankets, etc., offering help. Agency’s Impact on the Community The agency has been very successful with its Christmas programs and the Night Watch program. This community wouldn’t be the same without the Salvation Army.
