Agency Impact on Community: Cancer Services has helped many patients recover from cancer by providing them with numerous kinds of assistance. And, the Comprehensive Cancer Center provides advanced 3-D radiation treatment planning and chemotherapy. An expansive, surgical suite offers the latest advancements such as stereotactic technology, a procedure using computer simulation, microscopic surgery and x-ray images for pinpoint accuracy. Agency Goals and Programs: BSA’s goal is to make every Scout and Venturer show the values set forth in the Scout Oath and Law. BSA offers Cub Scouting for boys in 5th grade or less, Boy Scouting for boys from age 10/11 through 18, and Venturing for boys and girls from 14 to 20. Adults can also volunteer in any program. Agency Impact: BSA provides a good environment and good role models for young people who may not normally have either.
