Agency Goals and Programs: The literacy council aims to provide basic life skills in reading, writing, math, and speaking through one-on-one tutor sessions. The council also strives to increase the reading in both the youth and adults by providing one-on-one tutoring for the undereducated and illiterate. Agency Impact: The literacy council has increased the literacy rate in the county and has encouraged adults and young people to read more.
