Agency’s Goals and Programs:

CCC aims to bring youth and adults together to form a Christian community for the purpose of serving God and better knowing our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. CCC also strives to spread the love of Christ in the larger community through service to people in need and to provide opportunities for youth to practice leadership skills, witness their faith, and grow in spiritual maturity.

Agency Impact on Community:

In 1988, CCC’s first year, 93 campers attended one of two offered weeks. Twenty years later, CCC took 1,268 campers over four weeks and served 725 families in the western counties of NC. To date, 19,248 youth and adults have attended CCC and 11,396 projects for the needy have been completed.

Volunteer Duties:

• Working with camp cook
• Packing lunches for groups
• Cleaning coolers
• Washing dishes
• Assisting with serving food
• Mopping dining hall
• Wiping down tables
