Mission Statement:

To provide a safe, fun, and exciting BMX experience for over 25 years in the Raleigh area.

Agency’s Goals and Programs:

Capital City BMX aims to reach kids and adults of all ages through the sport of BMX racing. Programs offered are free one-time memberships as well as clinics for beginning-advanced riders.

Agency Impact on Community:

Capital City BMX has offered a place for kids to come stay out of trouble and have a focus on something positive in a rough area in downtown Raleigh. Its presence has helped reduce crime in the area and reached out to many kids that would otherwise have no place to go.

Volunteer Duties:

• Helping with races
• Helping groom the track
• Officiating and acting as a scorer for races
• Teaching free clinics to new riders to help them with the basics of racing
