Agency’s Mission Statement

The Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity’s mission statement is, “We are a Christian housing ministry serving the Cape Fear area, partnering with God and our community to assist families who are working hard toward the purchase of a new home.”

Agency’s Goals and Programs offered to Clients/People Served

During 2008-2009 the Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity strove to complete twelve new homes for low income families. These twelve new homes are on the Cottages at the Cornerstone site, which is a five-acre property purchased by the Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity. The long term goal for this development is to build a total of thirty homes.

Agency’s Impact on the Community

Since February 1987 the Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity has constructed 99 new homes. These homes not only help one family at a time, but they also help to beautify the community as a whole.
