The library’s goal is to promote reading and the pursuit of knowledge, and to assist people with library activities. It has programs like story time where stories are read to young children on a regular basis.

Agency’s Impact on the Community

Cameron Village Library is one of the biggest libraries in Wake County and gives tremendous service to the community by offering computers and reference materials, and offering services like voter registration and the like. It has made people’s lives easier and, more importantly, more filled with reading.

Volunteer Duties

  • Assist in sorting returns
  • Take requests off the shelves
  • Sort carts of books
  • Help check in books
