Agency’s Goals and Programs Offered to Clients/People Served

As a multi-use agency, they offer recreation, wildlife and fish management, and access to the nature culture. Also, they are an energy agency, which means they own land that has oil and valuable minerals. They also offer fire protection.

Impact the Agency Has Made on the Community

They manage 77 million acres in Alaska. They offer recreational facilities such as campgrounds to the community, and they help maintain gold mining. They offer 100 jobs to Fairbanks alone.
