To provide for the unmet health needs of low-income Cumberland County residents through assistance, referral, and education.

Agency’s Goals and Programs:

Better Health offers many program services to benefit its clients, such as Diabetes Management Programs, Medical Equipment Loan, Direct Aid, and much more.

Agency Impact on Community:

Through fundraisers, auctions, and free classes, Better Health has united the community. Better Health prompts the awareness of diabetes to all residents of Fayetteville. Better Health has provided the diabetes community with medical equipment, care, free screens, testings, referrals, and knowledge.

Volunteer Duties:

• Instructing exercise classes
• Administering the clients
• Reminding clients of appointments
• Making fake home kits
• Taking stock and inventory
