8/1/11 - Leslie Brinson awarded $10,000 from the Christopher Columbus Fellowship Foundation

Leslie Brinson, NCSSM Biology instructor, was awarded $10,000 from the Christopher Columbus Fellowship Foundation for her significant and positive contributions related to promoting the study of life sciences to students. Leslie is one of three teachers in the nation honored with the award this year. The award recognizes her proficiency teaching AP Biology, her enterprising spirit, and her guidance and mentoring of students. Read more about the award.
