3/14/12 - Loren Winters, Faculty member, wins award for scientific imaging

Congratulations to Dr. Loren Winters, Physics Faculty member currently teaching in the Online Program, for winning the Raymond C. Bowman Award from the Society for Imaging, Science, and Technology.  'The award recognizes an individual who has been instrumental in fostering, encouraging, and helping individuals of any age pursue a career in a technical/scientific area of imaging science, including the pursuit of an appropriate education.'  Dr. Winters' signature course on High Speed Photography generated many iconic photographs that are displayed in the halls of NCSSM.
