Chemistry instructor, Bob Gotwals, was sponsored to attend a weeklong Short Course in Systems Genetics at The Jackson Lab in Bar Habour, Maine. At this intensive workshop Mr. Gotwals studied genetic mapping, gene expression microarray analysis and computational modeling of complex systems that will inform his computational courses. http://courses.jax.org/2013/systems-genetics.html
