Academic Interests: My primary interests include encouraging students to become good problem solvers. Quizzes and tests in my class are designed for students to rely less on their memory and focus more on ensuring students understand the chemical concepts presented in class. I am also the Chemstry faculty mentor in the Summer Reseach in Physical Sciences program held at NCSSM. Within the next few years, I would like to have a research group, giving even more NCSSM students to the opportunity to participate in high school research.
