An NCSSM graduate, I attended Mount Holyoke College for a Bachelors in Physics. After working as a high school physics teacher and software technical support manager, I attended graduate school in California. I have a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley in Astrophysics. I have taught Physics at California State University San Bernardino and Columbus State University in Columbus, GA prior to coming to NCSSM in 2011.
