Bio: I began teaching at NCSSM in the fall of 1992. During this time I have taught predominantly the molecular courses-classical genetics, molecular genetics, and molecular and cellular biology. Several years ago I began working with students in a 1-trimester research experience course in which students learn how to design and carry out a research project. I love teaching biology because the field is continually developing and growing. Enzyme kinetics, bioinformatics, and gene regulation are of particular interest to me.
