  • Co-presented inquiry-based teacher workshops at the North Carolina Science Teachers’ Association Professional Development Institute on stream urbanization, climate change, and differential gene expression in collaboration with NSF RET Fellowship and UNC-CH’s DESTINY Program & Environmental Resource Program
  • Twice co-presented weeklong SITE Biology teacher workshop at NCSSM in collaboration with the North Carolina Math Science Education Network
  • Field test educational materials for the National Evolutionary Synthesis Center and UNC-CH DESTINY Program
  • Involve hundreds of students in invasive species removal, water quality monitoring, and stream clean ups, in collaboration with the Ellerbe Creek Watershed Association and Durham’s Adopt-a-Stream Program.
