Architecture in Berlin - 2010

       We travelled to Berlin to study the architecture of Berlin, with side trips to Sachsenhause, Potsdam, and Dresden.  Among the buildings studied in Berlin were the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, Fernsehturm, Mossehaus, Potsdamer Platz, Neue Nationalgalerie, Schauspielhaus, Neues Museum, Altes Museum, Pergamonmuseum, Alte Nationalgalerie, Berliner Dom, Deutsches HIstorisches Museum, Neue Wache, and Jewish Museum.

Architecture in France - 2009

      We travelled to France to study the architecture of France.  Half the time was spent in Paris, where among the buildings studied were the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Les Invalides, Pantheon, Madeleine, Centre Pompidou, Notre Dame, Montmartre, Luxembourg Palace,  The second half of the mini-term was in the Loire Valley and southern France, where the chateaux of Chenonceau and Chambord, as well as the Pont du Gard, Villau viaduct, Maison Carree, and the Unite d'Habitation in Marseille were studied.
