Extracurriculars

Work extracurriculars have included providing significant technological support to colleagues in terms of computers (Moodle, networking, etc).  I've also worked with one of NCSSM's first hearing impaired students on sign language skills, and have taught ASL seminars and miniterms.  

Some of my personal extracurricular activities include:

  • Hiking/backpacking
  • Kayaking
  • Riding my motorcycle
  • Reading (mostly non-fiction)
  • Music:  choral, cello, hammered dulcimer
  • American Sign Language
  • Braille transcribing and teaching
