9/11 Day of Service
NCSSM students are taking part in the national 9/11 Day of Service by honoring the memory of those who lost their lives that day through volunteer service. Specifically, students are working with the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina and Habitat for Humanity of Durham.
 

Service at NCSSM
Each year, NCSSM students give back more than 22,000 hours of service to organizations in communities across North Carolina. Just this past spring NCSSM set a Guinness World Record for the world's largest food drive, bringing in 559,885 pounds of food in a single day. Thousands across central and eastern North Carolina received a meal instead of going hungry because of this amazing community-supported event.
