Congratulations to Whitney Ratliff '13 for winning Player of the Year for the North Carolina Softball Coaches Association, District 5.

Congratulations are also in order for Nicole Ward '14, Courtney Bell '14 and Alex Elder  '13 for being named All-District along with Whitney.

"Each year, every high school softball coach in North Carolina has the opportunity to submit nominations for this award. Committees from all eight of our districts across the state then meet and make selections based on the information submitted by the coach as well as their own observations made during the course of the season.  These athletes are commended for the skills they have developed that have placed them at the forefront among the players in their regions."
