Genomics research takes broad collaboration, NCSSM proves it's up to the task

The Center for Genome Dynamics (CGD) at The Jackson Laboratory in Maine investigates some of the most vexing human genome questions confronting scientists. The laboratory uses mice as a model of humans to investigate the genetics of diseases such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension and atheriosclerosis. Recent NCSSM graduates are collaborating to help expand this research through a unique student program offered by the center.
