At NCSSM, the Instructional Technologies unit provides:
These resources and services are available to all faculty, staff and students.
For equipment to be delivered and/or picked up, an equipment reservation form must be filled out and submitted to a staff member at least one working day in advance. A request for equipment is tentative until the staff of Instructional Technologies confirms it.
The normal circulation period for equipment is the same day. Equipment checked out for daytime, classroom use must be returned by 4:15 p.m. Equipment borrowed overnight must be returned within one hour of opening the next business day. Circulation periods may be negotiated based upon need and availability.
Most classrooms are equipped with data/video projection, multimedia speakers, and an interface box. To project information from the network or to play a DVD, instructors should interface their notebook computer with the interface box. Interface cables should be available in the classroom. If they are not, please contact the staff of Instructional Technologies.
For issues related to classrooms in the ETC, please contact Evan Rowe for assistance.
The SMART Board and the instructor workstation are reserved for faculty and staff only. The key to the SmartBoard cabinet, including the wireless keyboard, accessories, and audiovisual components can be checked out from the Library's circulation desk.
