Circulating Collection

A searchable list of materials held in the collection is available through the catalog.

The circulating collection of the library features:

  • almost 20,000 books and audio books;
    • fiction, non-fiction, biography, and reference; and
    • largest Esperanto language collection in North Carolina
  • more than 2,000 educational and popular DVDs and VHS cassettes;
  • approximately 265 music CDs representing various genres;
  • more than 50 print magazines, periodicals, and journals; and
  • 3 local, state, and national hard copy newspapers.

Location

The Borden Mace Library is located on the first floor of the Bryan Center.

Service Hours

Sunday: 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Monday-Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: Closed

Exceptions: On days when students are returning from extended weekends, the library is open from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.

On an official NCSSM holiday, the library will be closed and will reopen the following day at 8:00 a.m.
