Grace Breslin and F. Borden Mace Library

The Grace Breslin and F. Borden Mace Library serves the students, faculty and staff of the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM).

Facility

The library covers over 13,000 square feet (click here for map). Within this space are:

• standalone DVD players and VCRs
• technology help desk
• media production and transformation services
• computer (PC and MAC) workstations

Collections

Circulating Collection

A searchable list of materials held in the collection is available through the catalog.

The circulating collection of the library features:

• almost 20,000 books and audio books;
  • fiction, non-fiction, biography, and reference; and
  • largest Esperanto language collection in North Carolina
• more than 2,000 educational and popular DVDs and VHS cassettes;
• approximately 265 music CDs representing various genres;
• more than 50 print magazines, periodicals, and journals; and
• 3 local, state, and national hard copy newspapers.
