Youth and Government

Sponsored by the YMCA, Youth and Government allows students to engage in the practice of lawmaking and civic engagement as they  assume the roles of state representatives, senators, the state supreme court and members of the press. Students from across the state come together to debate state, national and international issues in a mock congressional session. NCSSM students will participate with Ms. Moulder, Instructor of History, February 9-12 in Raleigh. Two bills written by NCSSM students have been chosen to be included in the debates in congressional session.
