This is the tag line for Persepolis, a 2007 animated film based on the graphic novels of Marjane Satrapi.  The story follows a young girl as she comes of age against the backdrop of the Iranian Revolution. Winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, Persepolis was nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 2007 Academy Awards.
