500,000+ pounds of food. 24 hours.

NCSSM is taking on the Guinness World Record for largest 24-hour food drive by a non-charitable organization at a single location. It’s going to take all of us to make it happen, but together we CAN!

Food Drive schedule now available

As we near the finish line for the NCSSM World Record Food Drive and try to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ record for the largest 24-hour food drive by a non-charitable organization in a single location, all of the details are being finalized. You can now view the tentative schedule of events and the tentative raffle drawings schedule. When you arrive on Saturday, be sure to come to the Broad Street entrance by the globe sculpture. If you’re still interested in volunteering on Saturday, e-mail NCSSMFoodDriveVolunteer@gmail.com before 8 p.m. on Friday, March 19. We still need a number of volunteers between 3 and 9 p.m.

Disney Ends Give A Day. Get A Day.

On Friday, March 5, 2010, NCSSM was informed that Disney had ended the “Give A Day. Get A Disney Day.” program earlier than expected due to an unanticipated number of volunteers. Unfortunately, since the NCSSM Food Drive has not yet occurred, donations made to the drive are no longer eligible for the program. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience we know this may cause.
