1.       Announcements

  a.   Electronic approval of absences for athletics - Tom Clayton

   b.  People who need to make additional announcements please contact Dot Doyle.

2.       Approval of the minutes of the last two meetings.

3.       Discussion items   

      a.  How are we going to acknowledge students with all A’s?  There will be a motion and a vote.  (anticipated        time 5-10 minutes)

      b.  The discussion of the Welfare Committee’s recommendations for academic integrity will be continued.        There will most likely be 2 motions, one regarding the statement of principles and the other regarding a

            recommendation for summer readings.  (anticipated time 10 -15 minutes)

      c.  Jim Litle will report and seek input for the Technology Committee regarding the implications of the wireless       technology on campus.

4.  Upcoming agenda item: the welfare committee would like to discuss issues involved in students using students or external tutors.
