1.       Announcement

2.       Approval of the minutes

3.       Discussion of the Academic Program as a whole unit

In the past few years we have talked often about different components of the academic program, but we rarely talk about the academic program as a whole. What do we want the program to accomplish? How do the many components contribute to accomplishing our goals? These components include:
classes,
alt day,
mini-term,
exams,
mentorship,
research,
interdisciplinary study,
graduation requirements, etc.

Are we duplicating efforts (by having all of the above components as important goals) and making more work for ourselves and/or the students in the process?
Are there things we aren't doing that we should do?
Do we have graduation requirements that best meet the needs of our students?
Is the workload reasonable both for us and for the students?
Do we want to do all of these? some of these? none?
If we were designing the school what would we do?
