Action Plan Committee

The Action Plan Committee was formed by Dr. Joan Barber initially in response to recent troubles in Hunt Hall including vandalism, major violations of school rules, and the resignations of several SLIs in the middle of the year. However, many of the problems in Hunt exist throughout the campus, and reflect a deterioration of the sense of pride in the NCSSM community. The Action Plan Committee has been charged with the responsibility of developing an Action Plan to improve life at NCSSM for all members of the school.

NCSSM is a wonderful place with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff. Good things happen here every day. However, we have had difficulty celebrating these accomplishments this year. For many people, too much of our energy has been focused on problems getting in the way of the mission of the school. We would like to take this opportunity to refocus our community, and provide the school with new energy and direction.
