Students are issued a room key and an access key to assist them in keeping themselves, their belongings and their hall environments safe. Students are strongly encouraged to lock their room doors when leaving their rooms and to keep their keys with them at all times. Students are prohibited from giving their access keys to other students or visitors. Students who violate this policy may be subject to judicial proceedings. Students who lose their access keys must immediately contact the Asst. Director of Campus Resources in Bryan 143 so that he can deactivate the lost access key and issue another. Students also may get replacements for lost or broken room keys from the Asst. Director of Campus Resources. Charges for replacements will be deducted from the security deposit.Students who lose their room keys may get a key-in through the SLI Office. Students who get three or more key-ins will receive a Level I and labor detail.
