AlertNCSSM
AlertNCSSM is the authoritative source for safety and emergency information at NCSSM. In the event of emergency, NCSSM will post safety-related and inclement weather announcements on the Web site. AlertNCSSM also gives NCSSM the ability to send text messages, voicemail and e-mail within minutes if there is an urgent situation or crisis. All employees should ensure that the contact information listed in Focus is current so that they will receive any emergency notifications. Testing of the system will occur sporadically throughout the year, according to the schedule posted on AlertNCSSM.
Adverse weather
In the case of adverse weather, all notifications about codes and changes in schedule will be posted on AlertNCSSM, on the emergency hotline (919-416-2872) and sent via e-mail to faculty, staff, students and parents.
