What the Annual Fund is and what it does
The NCSSM annual fund is a yearly fundraising campaign designed to help the School balance its annual operating budget and provide funds for special projects and enhancements as determined by the NCSSM Foundation and NCSSM Administration. Annual fund donations help support academic programs, athletics, fine arts, student activities, library, technology, campus enhancements and students with need. Gifts to the NCSSM Annual Fund sustain the tradition of academic, athletic, and outreach excellence that students and faculty strive to achieve. NCSSM stands at the forefront of innovative education because faculty and staff, one by one have done their part to make a difference. More than ever the NCSSM Annual Fund is what transforms an outstanding education into a true NCSSM experience
Why it is important to give
Not only do you have an impact on the lives of our students through your daily service, but you also can play an important role in the overall growth and development of NCSSM through your financial support. As a NCSSM faculty or staff member, you have the unique opportunity to give back directly to the programs and people you support every day. By participating in the NCSSM Faculty and Staff Campaign, you send a meaningful message that we are willing to support our students before asking others to do the same. This is especially important when the School applies for grants, as foundations and corporations routinely inquire about faculty and staff giving. It is the power of participation.
How to give and how much
No one understands the promise of what happens at NCSSM or the importance of the work completed at NCSSM better than the faculty and staff contingent. Your gift is an investment in yourself, your colleagues, and the important work NCSSM does to advance Science, Mathematics, and Technology education in North Carolina. You can make a one-time gift or payroll deduction to help support the programs, people, and future that you see every day. How much is not as important as our participation. Share what you can.
