Description of Permanent SPA Appointments

Permanent Employment for SPA

The Permanent Employment policies and procedures are outlined in the Recruitment and Selection and the Offering Employment sections of this manual. 

Age Limitations

The School does not practice or condone age discrimination. In keeping with the federal Fair Labor Standards Act, limitations are enforced only where specific age constitutes a bona fide occupational qualification.

  • Permanent SPA employees must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Law enforcement officers must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Temporary employees must be at least 16 years of age.
  • There is no maximum age for employment.
