I can catch the snow in my eyes
Watching as it goes,
Watching it as it passes by
When the sands of time etch
Its eternal ropes across
My frost covered chest,
I will seek another day
Another moment to catch;
And as I stare blankly into
Father’s stone cold eyes
Frost has covered
And winter will never pass
As the snow drifts into all our eyes
Melting down our cheeks
And pressing the sands,
That wash upon life’s shine,
The world is an eternal season
That dies, relives, only to die again
Without the frost of the winter
To hide in;
Without logic, without sound
Man shall exist
In this world of reason.
