Perfection’s Definition
    Scribbled on a café’s napkin
Was tossed onto the hungry streets

It wove in and out of crowds
Was blown skyward by hasty tired
Sidestepped by ridiculous heels

And landed
    Finally.

It watched as a flower bloomed
    Two lovers kissed
And a sunset faded into mists

Yet no one cared of its words
No one or realized or even read
The significance

So perfection’s definition felt that
    It wasn’t
    And would never be
Good enough
